It is 1986 New York City, and MIDAS is the King of Wall Street! This cautionary tale, inspired by the Greek myth, follows a power-hungry finance executive cursed with the ability to turn everything he touches to gold. Initially overjoyed, his new abilities quickly isolates him from the ones he holds closest, forcing him to question his entire worldview. Narrated by Dionysus, come join us inside the world of MIDAS, where GREED WILL ROT YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT!

The process, the inspiration, the collaboration

Jenna Rosebrough & John Brautigam met through Berklee College of Music's inaugural graduate class of "Writing and Design for Musical Theater" at Power Station/Avatar Studios! This birth place of MIDAS gave them the opportunity to record professional demos in the historic studios, workshop their ongoing re-writes with a team of broadway mentors, and showcase highlights of their work on stages such as 54 Below, The Cutting Room, and Power Station Studios.
